Sony is preparing several adaptations of its franchises, including a series based on Horizon Zero Dawn for Netflix. It was revealed today that “Umbrella Academy” showrunner Steve Blackman has joined the project. Steve Blackman.
Blackman will work on the upcoming show under the name Irish Cowboy Productions, which is the name of his new company. In a conversation with Netflix, the specialist mentioned a couple of details about the adaptation:
Blackman will be satisfied if the series manages to replicate the success of “Umbrella Academy,” but he and his team hope to outdo themselves. The series will make use of the “latest technology”.
Blackman and Michelle Lovretta are responsible for the screenplay. As in the original game, the main character will be a young warrior Eloi.
The serial version of Horizon Zero Dawn has no release date yet.
